Expedia Group is seeking a Principal, Strategic Payment Partnerships to join their Global Payments team. This role will focus on developing payment commercial strategy, deal structure, and partnerships with emerging players in the fintech industry to improve traveler experience, drive revenue, and enhance Expedia's strategic position. The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, leading business case development, driving commercial negotiations, and managing deals from concept to execution.

What you'd actually do

  1. Stay abreast of commercial, regulatory, and innovative trends in the payment industry, be the trusted thought partner for the leadership team of Expedia Global Payments
  2. Use your long-standing payments experience and payment partner relationships to advocate for scalable, simplified, and impactful solutions within a complex environment
  3. Ensure our payment business benefits from our partners’ expertise, insights, capabilities, and innovations
  4. Collaborate with cross functional teams and business owners to identify the right strategic approach / solutions
  5. Lead business case development, review and approval, including key stakeholders in product, tech and finance
