This role is for a Principal, Strategy & Operations - M&A at Superhuman, an AI productivity platform. The role focuses on driving the execution of the company's acquisition strategy, from due diligence through integration, in partnership with Corporate Development and the executive team. Responsibilities include supporting deal execution, defining and leading integration governance, acting as a fractional COO for newly-acquired businesses, building out Corp Dev Operations, and playing a role in strategic projects like capital raises and IPO readiness. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or program management, with at least 5 years in merger integration, and strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support deal execution, notably cross-functional due diligence and integration planning
  2. Define and lead integration governance for future acquisitions. Get your hands dirty and “pinch hit” by leading core cross-functional workstreams that lack ownership
  3. Cultivate a community of functional integration leaders across company. Build and refine playbooks to drive integration excellence
  4. Outside of integration leadership, act as fractional COO across newly-acquired businesses. Drive important initiatives, lead incorporation into Superhuman rituals, etc.
  5. Build out Corp Dev Operations — namely our information systems and pipeline processes
