This role is for a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist at Northrop Grumman, focusing on managing and forecasting material costs, budgets, and schedules for assigned programs. What you'd actually do

  1. Managing, reporting, and forecasting material cost/performance of assigned program(s)
  2. Managing the material budget for contract requirements while supporting baseline/EVMS requirements
  3. Analyzing lead times and identifying critical path procurements
  4. Managing on time req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule
  5. Monitoring and addressing supplier capacity and/or production issues

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in supply chain management, project management, and/or business management OR Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in supply chain management, project management, and/or business management
  • Experience in SAP (or any other ERP system)
  • U.S. Citizenship

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in Supply Chain, Business or Operations, or Financial Planning
  • Material management experience
  • Cost Accounting Management (CAM) experience
  • Experience in Federal and Defense contracting requirements including ITAR, DOS licenses, FAR and DFARS.
  • Experience with cost, schedule, variance reporting
  • Experience coaching teams and leading change initiatives with demonstrated results
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance
