What you'd actually do

  1. Planning and scheduling cost proposals
  2. Coordination of cost, schedule, and technical data for the development of the proposal in line with the specifications of the Request for Proposal (RFP)
  3. Collection and accumulation of cost data in coordination with the proposal team as well as functional departments
  4. Researching and analyzing historical data from similar past performance programs
  5. Assist in the developing of cost models and strategies associated with the bid/proposal.

Skills

Required

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience working independently and within a proposal team environment in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting cost volume teams
  • Experience with Pricing Tools used in cost development
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS and other Government Procurement regulations as they pertain to Bid/Cost proposals.
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Nice to have

  • Background in proposal management and development, cost development, BOE development, and reading/writing/responding to RFIs and RFPs is essential
  • Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) process and the full business development lifecycle for US federal contractors.
