What you'd actually do

  1. Work with a wide variety of Northrop Grumman’s suppliers to procure complex, specialized goods and services in support of a wide portfolio of programs
  2. Facilitate supplier vetting, onboarding domestic and foreign suppliers, and approval
  3. Collaborate with key Northrop Grumman key stakeholder requirements, including, but not limited to, engineering, quality assurance, business management, price & cost analysis, commercial item determination, intra/internal (related party) work orders, spares/sustainment/repairs, quality/inspection, planning, operations, proposal management team, etc. and program management to finalize statements of work and material/product specifications to clearly define requirements and to develop an appropriate subcontracting strategy
  4. Execute subcontractor agreements, including non-disclosure, teaming, long term price, spares, sustainment, repairs, etc.
  5. Ensure compliance with public laws, company policies, import/export regulations and prime contract flow-down clauses

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of government contracting supply chain/or business management OR Master’s degree with with a minimum of 3 years of government contracting supply chain/or business management.
  • Experience preparing subcontractor Request for Proposal (RFP) packages and supporting the acquisition process including supplier proposals adequacy determination for domestic and international subcontracts.
  • Work experience with U.S. Government contracting
  • Experience with MRP procurement application software
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Ability to obtain & maintain a government Secret security clearance
  • US Citizenship
