This role is for a Principal or Sr. Principal Systems Administrator on the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) Program. The primary responsibilities involve implementing and managing development and mission environments, including hardware and software, with a focus on Red Hat Linux systems and HPE HPC clusters. The role requires collaboration with cybersecurity, hardware, software, and systems engineering disciplines. Key tasks include providing technical assistance, system enhancements, and configuration management within an enterprise classified network. A Secret clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform as a Linux System Administrator for an enterprise classified network
  2. Provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software.
  3. Implement and manage HPE HPC clusters
  4. Respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, support development of corrective action and implement corrective actions
  5. Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience OR Master’s degree and 3 years of experience (Principal); Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience OR Master’s degree and 6 years of experience (Sr. Principal)
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Create and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions and security access lists.
  • Test new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact.
  • IAT Level II certification (ex. Security+ CE) or greater.
  • Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux 8/9 OS
  • Experience with Ansible
  • Experience with Red Hat Identity Manager (IDM)
  • Experience with Red hat Satellite Server configuration and usage
  • Ability to travel 25% (CONUS or OCONUS)

Nice to have

  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with ability to gain SCI
  • Experience with Hewlett Package Enterprise High Performance Computing (HPC) cluster management solutions such as HPE CM
  • Experience with various MPI implementations, IntelMPI, OpenMPI, MPICH
  • Experience with InfiniBand networks and the InfiniBand protocol
  • Experience with Nvidia CUDA libraries and GPUs
  • Experience with job schedulers, such as Slurm or PBS
  • Experience with global and parallel file systems, such as GPFS
  • Experience with Data Diode/CDS security solutions
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies and use of Atlassian tools (i.e. Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience with Cameo or similar MBSE tools
