Principal Technical Product Manager, Ads Traffic Quality

Amazon Amazon · Big Tech · London, United Kingdom · Project/Program/Product Management--Technical

This role is for a Principal Technical Product Manager focused on Amazon Ads Traffic Quality. The core responsibility is to own the product strategy and roadmap for solutions that detect and prevent sophisticated invalid traffic (IVT) using advanced techniques like deep learning, generative modeling, and anomaly detection. The role involves driving technical innovation, leading cross-functional teams, defining product metrics, and collaborating with engineering and business stakeholders to protect advertiser spend and maintain marketplace integrity at scale.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Traffic Quality solutions, including invalid traffic detection, prevention, and measurement systems.
  2. Drive technical innovation in fraud detection methodologies, leveraging machine learning, ad forensics and device attestation.
  3. Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement sophisticated invalid traffic detection mechanisms.
  4. Define and oversee product metrics, focusing on both technical precision (eg: false positive rates) and business impact (advertiser trust, ad spend protection).
  5. Collaborate with engineering teams to define requirements for scalable systems that can process billions of daily transactions.
