Principal Technical Program Manager for Amazon Ads Measurement Science team. This role will drive program execution for AI initiatives, including an Analyst Agent and a Customer Journey Model, working across Product, Science, and Engineering. The role involves planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale technical programs at the intersection of advertising technology, machine learning, and distributed systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own end-to-end program management for strategic advertising technology initiatives spanning multiple teams and organizations
  2. Drive technical strategy and roadmap alignment across engineering, product, science, and business teams
  3. Lead cross-functional teams through complex technical challenges in areas such as ad serving, campaign management, measurement, and optimization
  4. Establish program governance, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to ensure visibility and accountability at the VP level
  5. Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks across large-scale distributed systems serving billions of ad requests daily

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
