Principal Technical Program Manager – AI Transformation & Clinical Informatics Enablement

This role is for a Principal Technical Program Manager focused on driving AI transformation within Oracle Health's Clinical Informatics organization. The primary goal is to optimize clinical workflows, automate processes, and enable organizational scale through the adoption of AI and intelligent technologies. The role involves leading cross-functional initiatives, defining roadmaps, and ensuring solutions align with healthcare compliance and governance requirements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive enterprise-scale transformation initiatives focused on optimizing Clinical Informatics workflows through AI, automation, and process redesign.
  2. Evaluate end-to-end operational processes to identify inefficiencies, duplicate activities, unnecessary handoffs, and opportunities for automation.
  3. Develop and execute transformation roadmaps that align technology investments with clinical, regulatory, quality, and business objectives.
  4. Partner with clinical SMEs to redesign workflows that enable team members to work at the top of their license and expertise.
  5. Build scalable operating models that increase the organization's capacity to support expanding regulatory, quality, and compliance programs.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of Technical Program Management, Business Transformation, Clinical Operations, or related leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale business transformation, process optimization, or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Experience driving AI, automation, digital transformation, or workflow modernization programs from strategy through execution.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex operational processes and identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and scale.
  • Proven track record managing cross-functional initiatives involving clinical, technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience defining business outcomes, KPIs, and adoption metrics that demonstrate measurable value.
  • Strong risk management, organizational change management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Nice to have

  • Experience within Clinical Informatics, Healthcare Operations, Clinical Quality, Regulatory Programs, or Healthcare Technology environments.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, quality programs, interoperability standards, and healthcare data governance.
  • Understanding of AI, Generative AI, workflow automation, process mining, intelligent document processing, and related transformation technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and enterprise technology ecosystems, including OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Reengineering, Agile, SAFe, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
