Principal Technical Program Manager, Amazon Fashion & Fitness (f2) Tech

Amazon Amazon · Big Tech · Seattle, WA · Project/Program/Product Management--Technical

This role is for a Principal Technical Program Manager at Amazon Fashion & Fitness Tech, focused on leading measurement and impact analysis for a returns reduction program. The core responsibility is to develop and implement data-driven frameworks to quantify the impact of customer experience initiatives on return rates, aiming to reduce measurement lag from 45 days to real-time predictive capabilities. The role involves significant cross-organizational influence, technical judgment in building consensus on measurement methodologies, and integrating returns awareness into operational processes. While the role mentions using generative AI tools as a preferred qualification, the core function is program management and data analysis for business impact, not direct AI/ML model development or deployment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and deliver the end-to-end strategy for measuring CX initiative impact on returns across 30+ departments.
  2. Own the roadmap for zero-lag predictive metrics that eliminate 45-day measurement delays, enabling real-time returns analysis in experimentation design.
  3. Decompose complex returns measurement challenges into scalable technical solutions.
  4. Partner with Principal Engineers, economists, and data scientists to design predictive models, analytical frameworks, and automated monitoring infrastructure for standalone returns metrics.
  5. Build consensus among Directors and VPs on measurement methodologies and trade-off frameworks between topline growth (OPS), long-term profitability (GCCP), and returns impact (CIR).
