We are looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager, to lead and drive global-scale security initiatives across cloud services. This role is pivotal in ensuring the resilience and compliance of Microsoft services, enabling our customers to operate securely at scale. As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will partner with engineering, security, services, and compliance teams to define strategy, align roadmaps, and deliver secure-by-design solutions that span Microsoft’s global cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Define program vision, strategy, and execution plans in collaboration with security, services, engineering, and compliance teams.
- Own the delivery of complex, cross-team initiatives that span multiple division.
- Track and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of program milestones.
- Build and manage program-level dashboards and KPIs, ensuring leadership visibility and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
- Have direct/hands-on experiences with 3+ years of scaled up distributed systems, high volume log stream handling, cloud infrastructure, and/or detection technologies.
Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
