This role is for a Principal TPM on the Amazon Search team, focusing on leveraging advanced ML algorithms for search and recommendation problems to enhance the customer shopping experience. The TPM will drive end-to-end program delivery, partner with technical and business stakeholders, and define KPIs to measure success. The role emphasizes a customer-centric approach, innovative thinking, and collaboration across science, engineering, product, and UX design teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive the end-to-end delivery of large-scale programs that help the organization meet its long-term goals.
  2. Partner with technical, and business stakeholders to align on priorities, drive consensus, and deliver results at scale.
  3. Collaborate with science, engineering, product, and UX design to implement scalable, and efficient solutions to key customer problems in search.
  4. Define KPIs and metrics to measure success, identify areas for improvement and provide actionable updates to leadership through detailed reporting and insights.
  5. Act as the key connection point between engineering, business teams, ensuring alignment, effective communication, and seamless execution.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
