This role focuses on defining and executing Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for Amazon Bedrock, a service hosting foundation models. The specialist will engage with product managers, customers, and model providers to accelerate adoption, influence product direction, and develop joint GTM plans, engagements, and proof-of-concepts. The role requires a blend of business and technology expertise in Generative AI, with a focus on market development and evangelism.

What you'd actually do

  1. define go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Amazon Bedrock
  2. lead cross-functional initiatives to expand existing markets, develop scalable programs to drive adoption, and identify new opportunities
  3. market sizing, working with your counterparts from across the globe to build an opportunity pipeline, working with customers to understand technical requirements, creating content to train the field teams, driving industry thought-leadership, working with product teams to define new features, and identifying partners
  4. drive the development of the GTM plan for building and scaling adoption of Amazon Bedrock
  5. interact with customers directly to understand their business problems, and work with and model providers and our solutions architects to help them define and implement scalable GenAI solutions to solve them

Skills

Required

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
  • 5+ years of technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services experience
  • Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
  • 7+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience

Nice to have

  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
  • Experience building sales plays and playbooks, prospecting for, advancing and closing sales pipeline to drive adoption of products/services/capabilities in ML, AI or Analytics across a large customer base with demonstrable results delivered.
  • Experience advocating on customers behalf by understanding their pain points, helping customers navigate through technology options and adoption challenges, and conveying insights back to product teams.
