This role is for a Principal Security Specialist at RTX, focusing on leading the Industrial Security program as a Facility Security Officer (FSO). The position requires managing compliance with national industrial security programs, conducting security briefings, developing training programs, overseeing physical security, auditing information systems, and managing classified document control. A transferable U.S. government security clearance is a mandatory requirement.

What you'd actually do

  1. Interface with all levels of Raytheon and government personnel to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), applicable government and federal regulations, and Raytheon company policies.
  2. Manage all aspects of the Industrial Security program.
  3. Conducti security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, and program-specific briefings
  4. Develop and administer Security Awareness, Training, and Education (SATE) programs
  5. Implement and oversee physical security requirements, including Closed Area and Restricted Area certifications

Skills

Required

  • Minimum 5 years of Industrial Security experience, including 3+ years as an FSO
  • Experience working with DCSA and other U.S. government security representatives
  • Experience working with NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117) and Industrial Security Letters (ISLs)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

  • Completion of the FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities curriculum (or former CDSE equivalent)
