Northrop Grumman is seeking a Process Assessor to perform dimensional and visual inspections of components and assemblies. This role involves using inspection equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of metrology equipment, and adhering to quality standards. The position requires experience with inspection procedures, calibrated measuring tools, and electrical/mechanical component inspection. A Secret Clearance is required.

Skills

Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent with 4 years of inspection or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience using calibrated measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, optical comparator).
  • Experience with performing visual, in-process and final dimensional inspections on tightly tolerance piece parts, subassemblies, and final assembly.
  • Experience performing inspection of electrical and mechanical components or assemblies.
  • Experience inspecting electrical harnesses including crimping and/or soldering (e.g. IPC-A-620, IPC-A-610, etc...).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • US Citizenship required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SAP, MES and MPLM.
  • Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • IPC-J-STD-001 certified or experience.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 Certified
