This role is for a Process Design & Continuous Improvement Manager within the Finance department at John Deere's Business Service Center in Poznań. The manager will oversee efficient Accounting & Finance processes, partner with IT for improvements, support shared service expansion and system integrations, track KPIs, revise procedures, and manage a team of Subject Matter Experts. The role requires a university degree in Finance or process improvement, 5+ years of experience in Finance and IT, strong knowledge of accounting principles and VAT compliance, and experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ensure efficient Accounting & Finance (A&F) processes for John Deere´s operations in Europe, including (but not limited to) Account Payables, General Ledger, Forecasting, Cost accounting, Payroll, Local Reporting…
  2. Partner with John Deere European Operations and Global IT to drive improvements in efficiency and quality.
  3. Support expansion of the Shared Service model to new internal entities.
  4. Support the integration of new systems and various finance transformation projects.
  5. Track KPIs to improve performance and service quality.

Skills

Required

  • University Degree in Finance or related to process improvement
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance and with IT professionals
  • English B2, both written and spoken
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles
  • good understanding of VAT compliance matters
