Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline with 2 years of professional experience OR Master's degree with 0 years of professional experience (for Level 2)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5 years of professional experience OR Master's degree with 3 years of professional experience OR PhD with 1 year of professional experience (for Level 3)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
  • Experience working with energetic materials related to rocket motors or warhead production
  • Ability to communicate technically complex topics and scenarios clearly and concisely

Nice to have

  • Proven ability to own a project and follow it from conception through process establishment
  • Knowledge of the ESI and EPLM systems
  • Understanding of ORI’s, PFMEA, and the POR process
  • Familiarity with NX or Solid Works modeling software
  • Experience working with Fanuc robots
  • Ability to coordinate between various engineering disciplines
  • Strong understanding of solid rocket motor system design, development, and manufacture
  • Demonstrated experience with problem solving, problem investigation teams, and critical decision-making skills
