What you'd actually do

  1. Analyze existing Top Product Structure concepts and strategy in DCAC-PDM, ENOVIA and develop the strategy for Product structure in New PLM Platform
  2. Analyze existing complex processes and define requirements
  3. Author new process documents to guide Engineering end users
  4. Develop concepts and approach of defining configuration of the parts in PLM platform
  5. Develop and implement program transition plans to improve existing processes and enable effective adoption of new tools, PLM capabilities, and digital thread practices.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Experience with PLM systems and digital thread integration
  • Configuration management (CM) knowledge
  • Product structure and EBOM/MBOM experience
  • Working knowledge/usage of PLM and CAD systems
  • Experience with data modeling and master data governance
  • Experience with authoring processes and capability development
  • Lifecycle and systems engineering concepts
  • Familiarity with digital thread concepts and practices

Nice to have

  • 8+ years related work experience
  • 5+ years experience with CAD/MBE
  • Background in aerospace product development, certification, or airworthiness compliance
  • Familiarity with Critical Chain Project Management
