Process Engineer (pcp) 15 Months Training Programme

Pfizer is offering a 15-month Career Progression Program (CCP) for advanced biopharmaceutical manufacturing executives/professionals in Singapore. The program is designed to cultivate skilled professionals for the biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector, targeting fresh graduates and mid-career individuals with no prior experience in the field. Participants will gain essential skills and experience in developing and modifying manufacturing processes, troubleshooting control systems, ensuring quality and safety standards, and implementing process improvements. The role requires a degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical) or Science (Chemistry major) and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop Manufacturing / Operating Instructions and necessary Standard Operating Procedures.
  2. Develop, maintain and troubleshoot the process control system recipe / models.
  3. Carry out technical assessment for evaluation of processes.
  4. Investigate, report and troubleshoot findings on both quality and EHS related issues observed during manufacturing or during batch record review.
  5. Develop, implement and monitor robust preventive measures for processing issues.

Skills

Required

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering or Degree in Science with Major in Chemistry
  • Proactive, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Nice to have

  • Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Process Engineering and Technical Knowledge
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
