What you'd actually do

  1. Ensure a safe working environment and improve the safety culture.
  2. Take overall responsibility for the safe design and operation of the equipment within the area.
  3. Serve as the technical expert of equipment and process which includes clear understanding of equipment flow chart/process flow document, critical process parameters, and master formula instructions for the process.
  4. Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve more difficult equipment and operational problems.
  5. Utilize formal problem solving techniques, including Root Cause Analysis, to resolve equipment issues.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Technology, or related STEM field
  • 5 years of experience in process engineering within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
  • Experience with validated systems (CQV)
  • Experience with root cause analysis techniques
  • Experience leading strategic projects related to safety improvements
  • Experience creating and executing test plans and protocols for manufacturing
  • Experience leading troubleshooting efforts for equipment and operational problems
  • Experience evaluating activities for impact on qualified state of equipment
