Process Engineer – Shift Technical Support

Process Engineer role focused on supporting and improving manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities in a pharmaceutical (healthcare) setting. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration, process support, equipment monitoring, safety basis development, and utilizing modeling/simulation for process understanding. Requires a BS in Engineering and experience in chemical manufacturing.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to the process, unit operations and equipment, including supporting systems such as CIP (clean in place), utilities, solvent supply and waste systems
  2. Collaborate cross functionally with QA, TSMS, Operations, Automation, EHS, Automation, Utilities to ensure robust impact assessments are developed & documented in combination with troubleshooting & decision-making efforts to maintain reliable supply of quality medicine.
  3. Provide process engineering support in batch or continuous API platforms through application of chemical engineering fundamentals.
  4. Monitor, assess, and document equipment performance to maintain ongoing qualification.
  5. Develop and maintain the basis of safety for process equipment.
