Process Permitting

This role is for a Process Permitting role at a new biotech manufacturing facility. The primary responsibility is to provide safety leadership and expertise for the permit to work program, including drafting, reviewing, and authorizing various types of permits. The role also involves reviewing hazards and controls, ensuring personnel competence, and supporting emergency response and maintenance activities. Basic requirements include a trade qualification and experience in GMP manufacturing and operations/engineering.

  2. General Permit to Work & Risk Assessment
  3. Line Break and Lock-Out Permit
  4. High Energy Hot Work Permit
  5. Low Energy Hot Work

Skills

Required

  • FETAC Level 6 Trade Qualification or equivalent
  • Four years GMP manufacturing experience
  • Relevant pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience
  • Five years’ experience in an operations, engineering, maintenance, or technical support area
  • Experience with computer systems (e.g., DeltaV, MES) and automated recipe driven processing
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leaderships skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Technical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions
  • Organized and able to set priorities at short notice
  • Demonstrated ability to implement the Lilly Limerick culture of safety first, quality always
