What you'd actually do

  1. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies.
  2. Assist in planning modifications to physical facilities to meet new environmental standards.
  3. Help prepare contracts for licensed hazardous and radioactive waste disposal firms.
  4. Monitor waste handling and organize spill-control teams.
  5. Update environmental and spill-control manuals and procedures.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in Industrial Safety, especially in manufacturing facilities areas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good knowledge of computer operation and MS Office Suite
  • Ability to conduct Environment Health & Safety (local applications) trainings

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of risk assessment processes and the ability to suggest suitable controls
  • Experience in formulating cost-effective alternatives for corrective actions
  • Strong problem-solving skills
