This role is for a Solutions Architect specializing in Procurement and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) within Ramp's Solutions organization. The individual will act as a technical and functional expert, supporting enterprise evaluations by leading discovery, validating requirements, designing future-state workflows, and creating pre-sale implementation plans. The role requires deep procurement domain expertise and technical implementation knowledge, partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Post-Sales Solutions to influence the product roadmap. It is a customer-facing role ideal for experienced P2P implementers or senior Solutions Consultants with technical depth.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions on procurement workflows, vendor management, sourcing, approvals, catalog strategy, and 3-way match requirements
  2. Map customer procurement requirements to Ramp’s capabilities, identifying gaps and designing scalable workarounds
  3. Build pre-sale implementation plans (phases, timelines, dependencies) to eliminate re-discovery during onboarding
  4. Operate as the procurement technical lead in enterprise opportunities
  5. Provide structured feedback to Product on gaps, customer needs, and market trends

  • P2P solution design/implementation (Coupa, Ariba, Zip, Ivalua, Workday, NetSuite, etc.)
  • Strong technical acumen
  • API experience
  • SFTP, integrations, data migration, SCIM/SAML, ERP financial objects familiarity
  • Enterprise evaluation experience with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders
  • Communication and storytelling skills
  • Ability to design future-state workflows
  • Ability to build pre-sale implementation plans

Nice to have

  • Certifications in Coupa, Ariba, Workday, or other ERP/P2P platforms
  • SQL or scripting familiarity
  • Experience working closely with Product teams to influence roadmap
