Procurement Specialist (Electrical systems, components and services) is an on‑site role based in Brno, Czech Republic, supporting integrated MWM power solutions projects.
The position is responsible for end‑to‑end procurement activities during both the proposal and the execution phases.
MWM offers energy solutions based on high-performance gas engines, used in highly efficient combined heat and power (CHP) plants for decentralized energy generation. Our customized cogeneration power plants and integrated solutions support our customers in making their energy supply efficient, flexible, and future-proof. In 1871, Carl Benz laid the basis for MWM by founding the “Mechanical Workshop“ in Mannheim. Today, the MWM brand is part of Caterpillar Energy Solutions and combines more than 150 years of experience in the development and optimization of gas engines and generator sets for natural gas, biogas, and other special gases.

What will be your task at this position?
- Manage end‑to‑end procurement for integrated MWM power solutions projects throughout the proposal and the execution phase
- Translate project requirements into back‑to‑back contract flow
- Manage the procurement strategy and execution plan, including supplier selection for electrical equipment and switchgear, such as auxiliary control cabinets, master control cabinets, controls, installation & cabling, and engineering services
- Manage the procurement risks, including timeliness, quality and claims
What do we expect from a suitable candidate?
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management / Logistics, Engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and customers
- Experience in project procurement and enthusiasm for working in international, cross‑functional projects
- High level of self‑motivation and organisation
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Fluency in English
