What you'd actually do

  1. Define and Prioritize Product Backlog: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements, draft user stories and acceptance criteria, and help prioritize the backlog in line with business goals and customer needs.
  2. Collaborate with Development Teams: Work day-to-day with engineering and design to clarify requirements, track progress, and provide timely feedback; escalate risks and dependencies to ensure increments are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards.
  3. Conduct User Research and Testing: Coordinate and participate in user research and usability testing; synthesize insights and recommend iterations to validate and improve features.
  4. Support Agile Ceremonies: Participate in and help facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives), contributing to effective collaboration and continuous improvement.
  5. Monitor Product Performance: Pull and analyze product metrics and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities; propose data-driven recommendations to enhance the product.
