What you'd actually do

  1. Creating, maintaining, and communicating accurate change management data at both the local and corporate level through data entry in multiple management information systems.
  2. Analyzing engineering releases, changes, drawing notices to create change management requirements, providing the creation of product structure based on engineering design.
  3. Maintaining close team relationships with releasing analysts, as well as teams in manufacturing operations, process planning, engineering design, and material planning.

Required

  • Completed degree or undergraduate degree in Engineering or related field
  • Intermediate conversational English
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail
  • Strong knowledge of the cost, production, and supplier impact of errors in Bills of Materials (BOMs), revisions, and engineering documents.
  • Ability to apply structured verification tools (checklists, cross-checks, document comparisons) to ensure error-free engineering changes.
  • Capability to identify discrepancies in technical data early and take corrective action before release.
  • Background in handling Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Strength in building effective relationships with key areas such as Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, Production Control, and Supply Chain.
  • Knowledge to coordinate actions across departments to ensure timely execution of engineering changes (quotes, BOM updates, PPAP, effective dates).
  • Ability to communicate proactively and seek support when alignment or escalation between teams is required.
  • At least 1 year of exposure to supply chain processes.
  • Applied understanding of how engineering changes affect MRP cycles, material availability, revisions, lead times, and supplier shipments.
  • Ability to accurately enter and update critical data in manufacturing systems (revision levels, EAU, disposition, effectivity, BOM changes).
  • Capability to interpret system outputs and anticipate impacts on production schedules, inventory levels, and procurement activities.
  • Intermediate proficiency in SAP system.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
