Product Control Engineer (supply Chain)

This role supports prototype sample operations within an engineering and manufacturing environment, coordinating the planning, scheduling, tracking, and delivery of early prototype samples. The candidate will partner with Product Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to ensure material readiness, resolve supply constraints, and support on-time execution of engineering builds.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support manufacturing specifications and Bill of Materials (BOM) management throughout the product lifecycle
  2. Coordinate planning, scheduling, tracking, and delivery of prototype samples for internal and external customers
  3. Provide operational support for engineering development activities across NPI and sustaining products
  4. Partner with Product Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to resolve material shortages, backlogs, and schedule risks
  5. Develop sample schedules, labor loading plans, and capacity requirements based on engineering plans and production specifications

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies
