  3. Partner with Product and Technology as a peer: Align on scope, priorities, and roadmap; represent design in planning discussions and resolve misalignment early
  4. Champion user needs: Ensure research and discovery inform decisions, and advocate for the user perspective in trade-off conversations
  5. Plan and manage team delivery: Scope work realistically, balance capacity, and communicate risks before they become blockers
