Seeking a UX Designer to define and evolve design system frameworks for digital experiences across Chase and JPMorgan brands, focusing on visual design, brand expression, and user experience consistency.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive the application and evolution of the Chase and J.P. Morgan brands in digital products through UI exploration, visual brand identity, design language, motion graphics and more.
  2. Deliver design frameworks and documentation (design system elements, UI patterns, brand expression across platforms) and refine them through critique.
  3. Iterate with strong critical thinking, using design reviews to improve quality, clarity, and adoption. Consult and advise on Product Design Principles, Design Language and Design System application as designers across the firm leverage our frameworks, guidelines and assets.
  4. Apply expertise in brand architecture and design systems (information architecture, pattern libraries, visual libraries)
  5. Define design processes and produce artifacts that support team goals and enable vertical teams.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience as a visual and/or product designer, with strong mobile and web delivery.
  • Expert-level Figma proficiency, including experience with component libraries and scalable system workflows.
  • Exceptional visual design craft, demonstrated through sophisticated layout, typography, and UI composition on mobile and web.
  • Deep understanding of UX, UI, and design systems, with the ability to create and maintain frameworks that drive consistency at scale.
  • Proven brand expression capability—translating brand and marketing strategy into product design language, patterns, and standards across platforms.
  • Strong communication, strategy, system-thinking and execution: can concept, document, and distill logic to evolve design language.

  • Curiosity-driven exploration of AI in design—actively experiments with generative and assistive AI to accelerate ideation, and system exploration while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Ability to translate concepts and learnings into scalable practice—documents guidelines and repeatable workflows so teams can adopt design methods consistently within the design system.
  • Strong exploratory prototyping—uses rapid iteration to test concepts, motion, and interaction patterns across app and web before standardizing them.
  • Thoughtful governance and standards awareness—partners with product, engineering, and data stakeholders to ensure design frameworks align with responsible use, quality, and compliance expectations.
