Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Interaction, Graphic Design, Media Arts
  • 7+ years of design experience working within a technical environment with data-driven tools and enterprise-level interfaces that solve complex workflows
  • A strong portfolio showcasing creative problem-solving, user-centered design, and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate design concepts through whiteboarding sessions, sketches, and wireframes
  • Highly motivated by group critique, seeks out feedback, and is energized by it
  • Understand how to apply Apple's design aesthetic and user interactions
  • Able to function independently and in a team environment, with excellent collaboration skills
  • Flexibility and comfort with ambiguity and change
  • Proficient in Sketch, Figma, etc.

Nice to have

  • Ability to prototype and/or a desire to learn
  • Outstanding ability to lead and present a design-first vision
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and requirements
  • Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient
  • Prior experience working within and contributing to a design system is a bonus
