Product Development Engineer

This role involves researching, designing, developing, and testing operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for semiconductor operations. The engineer will develop software and tools for design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including OS, compilers, and cloud-based tools. They will also develop, debug, and tune performance of new graphics hardware and determine hardware compatibility. The role requires experience with Linux/Unix/Windows OS, statistical analysis, data engineering, data science, Large Language Models, and React.

What you'd actually do

  1. Research, design, develop, and/or test operating systems-level software, compilers, and/or network distribution software for semiconductor operations, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
  2. Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for enhancements and new products.
  3. Develop software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, cloud-based and Internet related tools.
  4. Develop, debug, bring-up, and tune performance of new graphics hardware running on operating systems, utilizing programming and game development principles.
  5. Determine hardware compatibility and/or influence hardware design.
