NVIDIA is seeking a Product Development Engineer to lead the development, creation, and production of new products, focusing on the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, wafer sorting, and yield analysis. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing technical documentation, and building PDE methodology infrastructures. What you'd actually do

  1. Leading the development, creation, and production of new products, ensuring they adhere to the highest quality and performance standards.
  2. Supervising the New Product Introduction (NPI) process to guarantee smooth progress from prototype to mass production, which involves performing wafer sorting and analyzing yield.
  3. Collaborating with the Foundry team for process understanding and Failure Analysis (FA) support, while working closely with R&D, manufacturing, and QA teams.
  4. Developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, development documents, and test plans.
  5. Building robust Product Development Engineering (PDE) methodology infrastructures to support manufacturing and ensure high-quality outputs.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated expertise in product development, covering NPI, wafer sorting, and yield analysis.
  • Proficiency in CAD software
  • JMP for statistical analysis
  • Hands-on experience with ATE (Advantest V93000)
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and the product rollout process.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Experience with AI, machine learning, or GPU technologies
  • Knowledge of software development and programming languages
