Product Education Engineer

Cursor Cursor · Coding AI · New York, NY · Customer Success

This role focuses on creating technical content and hands-on experiences to help developers become proficient with Cursor, an AI coding tool. The Product Education Engineer will build demos, tutorials, and workshops, acting as a subject matter expert and a bridge between product and field teams. The goal is to drive adoption and measurable outcomes for AI coding tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build Cursor's technical learning library hands-on: code walkthroughs, tutorials, labs, workshops, reference implementations, and instructor-led training
  2. Build high-quality demos, reference implementations, and workflow automations, using Cursor itself as part of your development process
  3. Lead large-format workshops, technical deep dives, and hands-on enablement sessions that help engineering organizations adopt AI coding tools effectively and drive measurable outcomes
  4. Be the technical translation layer between Product and the field. When Cursor ships new capabilities, our Field Engineers, ADMs, and Solutions Architects come to you to get up to speed
  5. Partner with Product, Engineering, DevRel, and Go-to-Market ahead of major launches so new capabilities ship with clear educational framing, practical examples, and adoption paths on day one
