Product Enablement Manager

OpenAI OpenAI · AI Frontier · New York, NY · Go To Market

This role focuses on bridging the gap between OpenAI's AI products and the Go-To-Market (GTM) teams. The Product Enablement Manager will build systems and workflows to make complex AI products understandable, sellable, and scalable for sales, solutions, and support. They will translate technical capabilities into GTM narratives, establish feedback loops from the field to product, and measure enablement effectiveness. While the role leverages AI tools and works with AI products, its core craft is product enablement and GTM strategy, not direct AI/ML model development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Contribute to the end-to-end product enablement system across onboarding, product launches, and continuous learning
  2. Translate complex technical products (APIs, AI systems, workflows) into clear GTM narratives, use cases, and playbooks
  3. Build scalable systems—not just content—that enable teams to keep pace with rapid product development
  4. Partner closely with Product and Engineering to understand new capabilities and ensure effective field readiness
  5. Establish feedback loops from GTM → Product to inform roadmap, positioning, and packaging decisions
