What you'd actually do

  1. Own the perps product roadmap, write and maintain prioritized specs with engineering, and make sure the team is always working on the highest-impact problems.
  2. Define the UX for margin systems, liquidations, and funding rates, translating complex mechanics into product decisions that feel simple to the trader.
  3. Coordinate engineering and design resources to ship perps improvements end to end, from spec to production.
  4. Audit trader complaints and support feedback weekly, map them to specific product gaps, and feed that signal directly into prioritization.
  5. Write detailed specs for new features and improvements, including edge cases, error states, and the full trader workflow.
