Responsibilities
Work with XR Tech and Wearables to explore and define the role location places across devices and use cases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish success metrics, use cases, and POEs for location-based products. Work within XR Tech and Overture to align on northstar goals for Map Tools to drive improvements in Map Data that are needed for Meta use cases. Partner with engineering, program, and other product leads to define and execute on a strategy for VPS technologies, ensuring they add value to current and future use cases. Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative tools and related growth initiatives. Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones. Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to improve engineer productivity and enhance user satisfaction. Raise awareness and drive adoption of open map data by supporting community outreach and events.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, Business Administration or a related field and 3 years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation Requires 36 months of experience in the following: Product vision definition, product requirement documentation, and resource coordination across cross-functional teams, including design and legal Large-scale data set analysis for data-driven decision-making Technical presentation development and delivery Requirement gathering and conversion into product design and development specifications Analytical tools, methodologies, and system design for data analysis and product evaluation
