Product Manager- Agentic Platform

Microsoft Microsoft · Big Tech · Redmond, WA +1 · Product Management

Product Manager for an Agentic Platform within Microsoft's Engineering Systems (ES365) team. This role focuses on building and scaling the agentic platform, including orchestration, developer tools, and governance, for use by thousands of Microsoft developers. The PM will define product vision, strategy, and metrics, work closely with engineering, and leverage AI tools in their daily work to improve developer efficiency and enable AI-assisted workflows across large codebases.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own product strategy, vision, and roadmap for a defined area of Microsoft's agentic platform, and drive it end-to-end from discovery through launch, adoption, and iteration.
  2. Use AI tools in your daily work, prototype product concepts yourself, and stay current on the fast-moving landscape of AI developer tools and agentic systems. Bring that depth to every product decision.
  3. Demonstrate resiliency to experiment and try multiple AI-driven product approaches that may not work, because no one has tried them before.
  4. Define how developers discover, adopt, and get value from the platform and its ecosystem of agents and plugins, whether that means onboarding, governance, developer experience, or scaling adoption across new engineering orgs.
  5. Lead with judgment, verify with data. Have a point of view on what to build, then use metrics like adoption, engagement, and productivity impact to validate it. Make the case to leadership with evidence and a clear view of what is or isn't working.
