Product Manager, Enterprise Developer Enablement

Netflix Netflix · Big Tech · United States · Remote · Product Management

Netflix is seeking a Technical Product Manager to drive the strategy and evolution of their application development platforms. The role focuses on reducing cognitive load for engineers by abstracting infrastructure complexity and integrating AI-native capabilities into foundational systems, simplifying the software development lifecycle and accelerating innovation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define Platform Strategy: Drive the long-term vision and roadmap for foundational application platforms, balancing immediate engineering needs with long-term architectural shifts (e.g., integrating AI-driven development workflows).
  2. Simplify Developer Experience: Identify and eliminate friction points for Netflix engineers. Deliver cohesive managed runtimes and developer solutions that enable teams to build complex, stateful applications without managing underlying infrastructure.
  3. Champion a "no-ops" mindset where platform tooling abstracts operational complexity.
  4. Accelerate Adoption: Partner with engineering leaders across Content and Studio teams to drive migration from legacy systems to modern platforms
  5. Measure Success: Define and track metrics related to platform reliability, and adoption, ensuring our investments deliver measurable improvements in engineering productivity.
