Product Manager, Fraud Data

Plaid Plaid · Fintech · New York, NY · All Departments

Product Manager for Plaid's Fraud team, focusing on building and improving the signal stack for their fraud intelligence platform. This involves owning the feature roadmap, managing the labeling pipeline, defining requirements for fraud vector scores, and collaborating closely with data scientists and MLEs. The role requires hands-on fraud prevention experience and direct collaboration with data teams to ship data-driven products.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the feature roadmap for Protect: what we build, how we validate it, and how we measure coverage and fill rates
  2. Build and manage the labeling pipeline as a product, including customer retros, data partnerships, and the label feedback loop into model training
  3. Define the product requirements for fraud vector scores, including signal selection, precision/recall targets, and customer-facing output design
  4. Partner with data scientists and MLEs as a day-to-day collaborator, not just a requester. Translate between model needs and product requirements in both directions
  5. Work with GTM and Protect PM on how attribute improvements and new scores translate into customer-facing value propositions.
