Product Manager (health Benefits Administration)

Product Manager role focused on Health Benefits Administration within Deloitte's AI & Engineering team, transforming technology platforms and driving innovation for clients. The role involves leading requirements gathering, defining business processes, and collaborating with product, UI/UX, and technology teams to align system configurations and ensure accurate benefits delivery.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead end-to-end requirements gathering and business analysis for health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, disability).
  2. Translate client needs into clear business requirements, end-to-end process maps, and configuration-ready functional specifications.
  3. Define and document benefits eligibility rules, enrollment logic, Qualified Life Events (QLEs), and payroll deduction rules (pre-/post-tax) for accurate system setup.
  4. Design future-state workflows that align business processes to BenefitsIQ product capabilities, minimizing customizations.
  5. Support payroll and carrier reconciliation by validating enrollment and deduction outcomes and resolving variances.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of experience delivering benefits plans
  • 3 + years of experience with benefits platforms (Workday, SAP, ADP, or Similar)
  • 2+ years of experience creating business process maps
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to travel 0-50%

  • Prior experience supporting Federal, State, or Local benefits products
  • Prior experience supporting Large employer environments
  • Familiarity with: FEHB, PSHB, and ACA compliance
