What you'd actually do

  1. Define and own product strategy and roadmap for Prime products serving millions of customers globally, driving decisions that impact Prime member acquisition, retention, engagement, and lifetime value
  2. Conduct customer research, competitive analysis, and data analysis to identify product opportunities within the Prime ecosystem (shipping, streaming, shopping). Make data-driven trade-offs between Prime member experience, technical feasibility, operational efficiency, and cost optimization
  3. Partner with Director-level stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to align product strategy with Prime's business goals and operational objectives
  4. Own end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through launch, adoption, and optimization for Prime features and benefits
  5. Write clear product requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technical products at Prime scale

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of product management experience with technical products
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven track record of launching successful products with measurable business impact
  • Strong technical background with ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience using data to drive product decisions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

  • MBA or Master's degree in technical field
