Product Manager to lead initiatives modernizing job and work architecture and the skill-to-job relationship, enabling cohesive employee and manager experiences at scale. This role operates within the Employee Experience Product Organization within HR, translating strategy into outcome-based roadmaps. Key responsibilities include managing workstreams, monitoring market trends, leading lifecycle activities, gathering user feedback, coordinating job architecture updates, partnering with various teams, setting goals, communicating vision, developing methodologies for skills inference and talent matching, and advancing a self-service model. The role will introduce AI-enabled solutions to improve user experiences and reduce operational risk. Requires 5+ years of product management experience, deep knowledge of the product development lifecycle, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage and deliver on major workstreams and execution plans for a portfolio of capabilities within the jobs and skills domain, with measurable targets and risk management.
  2. Monitor market trends and conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities in job architecture, skills taxonomies, and talent management.
  3. Lead end-to-end lifecycle activities across discovery, requirements, solution design, delivery, and value realization, driving reusability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  4. Gather and analyze user feedback alongside internal and market data to drive continuous improvement in the jobs and skills domain.
  5. Coordinate and execute job architecture updates, including job code changes across HRIS and related platforms.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of product management experience leading strategy and delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Deep knowledge of the product development lifecycle; demonstrated experience with technical and experience design; strong analytical and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to define and maintain a product backlog, present to stakeholders, and write stories and epics to partner across engineering, data, and design.
  • Proven deep empathy and understanding in furtherance of creating frictionless end-to-end experience partnering with engineering, design, and data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with structured and unstructured data to drive decisions, define metrics, and measure impact
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including meeting facilitation and workshop leadership with senior stakeholders; strong documentation and brief-writing in the jobs and skills domain.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and track OKRs and KPIs to measure success and optimize strategy.

Nice to have

  • Domain experience in job architecture, job design, and skills strategy; HR data and analytics; workforce planning and agility.
  • Knowledge of HCM platforms (e.g., Oracle HCM) and related HRIS systems.
  • Experience in integrating AI technologies into product development, with a focus on improved end user experiences and driving efficiencies while reducing operational risk
  • Preferred experience supporting global products and requirements within a globally matrixed, regulated organization with a proven ability to represent and navigate across senior executives across functions
  • Analytical acumen, with the ability to derive insights from data sets to help drive strategy and experience
