Product Manager for Oncology at Merck, responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans, managing product portfolios, achieving sales targets, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. What you'd actually do

  1. Achievement of market share and sales targets within promotional budgets
  2. Development, implementation & delivery of Brand strategies and tactical implementation
  3. Evaluation of the effectiveness of promotion and advertising programs and making recommendations for improvements or changes as necessary
  4. Management of product resources
  5. Maintain contact with distributors and key account customers on promotion efforts together with the Oncology Key Account Managers & Hospital Specialty Account Managers

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Medical or Science, Masters is highly desirable
  • Possess solid (3+ years) relevant experience in Product Management, ideally with launch experience
  • Experience in Oncology, Vaccines, or strong Specialty business (eg. Biologics) in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated strong Product and Marketing Knowledge with commercial success
  • Ability to build positive team partnering relationships with cross-functional teams to collaborate to execute project plans effectively
  • Good written, verbal and negotiation communication skills in English
  • Proficient in the use of all MS Office applications
  • Able to drive results with a focus on Strategy, the Customer without compromising on Ethics & Integrity
  • Self-motivation, passion, resilience and solution-focused
