What you'd actually do

  1. Primary point of contact for all engineering aspects of the product
  2. Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area
  3. Knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems. The ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables
  4. Collaborate with the technical leadership team consisting of Chief engineers, system architects and other product managers
  5. Manage product release schedules and release activities

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Engineering experience to include one (or more) of the following: systems engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, project engineering
  • Experience with one (or more) of the following: Engineering Project Management, Project Planning, Leading Agile Teams, Product Development, Earned Value Management

Nice to have

  • 5 or more years of higher education and/or related work experience
  • Leadership experience to include but not limited to engineering leadership roles and/or leading work and driving teams to success
