Product Marketing Manager for Codex, focusing on driving adoption and growth of AI-assisted development tools for developers. Requires deep familiarity with developer tools, coding workflows, and modern AI-assisted development environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead product launches for Codex and its underlying models: Build launch strategies that clearly communicate product-market fit for developers. Develop messaging and positioning, shape announcement moments, write launch blogs and technical content, and coordinate cross-functional teams through launch planning and execution.
  2. Develop compelling messaging and competitive positioning: Define how Codex is differentiated in the rapidly evolving AI coding ecosystem across tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and other developer platforms.
  3. Drive developer adoption and product growth: Partner with Growth and Design teams to design campaigns that increase awareness, acquisition, and ongoing usage of Codex across the developer ecosystem.
  4. Create developer-focused content and narratives: Produce high-quality content including blogs, technical explainers, launch posts, demos, landing pages, and social content in collaboration with Developer Experience and Engineering teams.
  5. Enable Sales and GTM teams: Develop technical narratives, sales materials, and enablement assets that help Sales and Solutions Engineering position Codex within real developer workflows and communicate its value to both technical and executive stakeholders—from startups to enterprises.

Skills

Required

  • 14+ years of experience in technical product marketing or developer marketing for developer tools, infrastructure products, or technical platforms.
  • Firsthand familiarity with developer tooling and workflows and can engage credibly with engineers on topics such as coding environments, developer platforms, and AI-assisted software development.
  • Led complex product launches involving multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Understands developer workflows and how developers discover, evaluate, and adopt new tools.
  • Deeply plugged into the developer ecosystem and actively follows the evolution of AI coding tools such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and similar developer platforms.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills and enjoys creating technical content for developers.
  • Works effectively across Product, Developer Experience, Sales, Growth, and Marketing teams in fast-moving environments.
