Product Marketing Manager for Privacy and Video Security at Verkada, an AI-powered physical security platform company. What you'd actually do

  1. Hone Verkada’s privacy and security narrative: Clearly articulate how Verkada differentiates itself, our fundamental approach to data protection, and how these practices deliver value to our customers. Refine and adapt our messaging and positioning strategies in response to product developments, competitor movements, and public sentiment.
  2. Drive proactive privacy thought leadership and asset creation: Author, advise on, and elevate high-impact collateral – including technical whitepapers, one-pagers, blogs, videos, and sales decks – to position Verkada as the definitive authority in the space. Take complete ownership of the Verkada Trust Hub webpage, significantly expanding its depth to turn it into a comprehensive, best-in-class destination for public transparency.
  3. Execute Video Security product launches: Bring new Video Security products and features to market by developing competitively differentiated messaging and positioning, setting a go-to-market plan, and planning and creating deliverables in order to maximize impact.
  4. Serve as a cross-functional subject matter expert: Act as a definitive expert on both Video Security and data privacy across our product portfolio. Unite Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to drive commercial results, lead Executive Briefing Center (EBC) sessions, and directly empower our field organization to navigate complex technical privacy evaluations.
  5. Enable the go-to-market engine: Partner closely with Sales, Demand Generation, Creative, and Channel Marketing teams to accelerate pipeline growth. Translate complex hardware capabilities and technical privacy frameworks into high-impact outbound marketing assets and field collateral that directly improve win rates.

Skills

Required

  • 2-4+ years of product marketing or related experience in B2B SaaS or IoT
  • Exceptional writing skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to write content for a variety of audiences, including highly technical content
  • Extreme curiosity and desire to dive deep into the weeds of all things privacy and enterprise data security.
  • Self-directed and able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams including Product, Communications, Sales, Demand Generation, and Creative
  • Bachelor’s degree required
