Product Operations Technical Specialist, Counter Intrusion

This role supports the operational health of deployed Counter Intrusion technology for a defense company. Responsibilities include identifying, triaging, escalating, and managing incident resolution across a fleet of systems. The role requires debugging complex issues on electromechanical systems and ensuring the quality of fleet observability and telemetry. It involves developing fleet health reporting, interfacing with internal teams, supporting global customers, and proposing process/product improvements. Experience with Linux command line is also required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Sustain Anduril’s Counter Intrusion deployments by combining an understanding of our customers’ missions with familiarity of our products and integrations
  2. Triage, diagnose and root cause product incidents. Drive postmortem actions including providing status visibility through resolution
  3. Consistently assess and ratchet up the quality of the fleet’s observability and telemetry in partnership with product teams
  4. Develop fleet health reporting spanning Anduril’s Counter Intrusion technology stack, continuously assessing deviations from the baseline
  5. Interface with internal operations and product teams to identify and solve system or product reliability issues

Skills

Required

  • Demonstrated experience as a self-starter, able to find and resolve issues on your own.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving in unstructured situations at the interface of hardware, software, and networking. Ability to drive challenging and vague technical problems to clarity and resolution.
  • Proven ability to master a technical system and support it in operational environments. Must demonstrate an innate drive to take ownership and be self-sufficient across the depth and breadth of the technical system.
  • Daily practice of excellence and rigor - you execute the 100th rep of a process with the same focus and care as the first five reps.
  • Confident with navigating ambiguity and crafting new ways of doing things.
  • Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance

Nice to have

  • Prior military or government agency exposure/experience.
  • Experience with observability tooling such as DataDog, Grafana, or Palantir Foundry; exposure to software development tooling such as Git, exposure to issue tracking tools such as Jira.
  • Experience with on-call support operations and working in limited risk tolerance production environments.
  • Willingness to work non-standard hours and weekends.
  • 3+ years of customer/technical support with a focus on fin
