Product Owner, Gtm AI

Asana Asana · Enterprise · Warsaw, Poland · Enterprise Technology

Product Owner for Asana's AI-powered GTM platform, focusing on a Salesforce-embedded revenue engine and other AI-driven GTM tools. Responsibilities include backlog management, cross-functional execution, prompt engineering, and ensuring adoption and quality of AI systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Day-to-day product ownership of our Salesforce-embedded intelligence platform: scoring models, account POVs, generative email, contact sourcing, and signal-to-action workflows.
  2. Expand and maintain a growing ecosystem of AI-driven GTM tools including auto-outbound pipelines, meeting prep, deal assist, churn early warning, and enablement surfaces.
  3. Manage the product backlog end-to-end: write specs, prioritize ruthlessly, run sprint ceremonies, and ship iteratively with engineering.
  4. Serve as the connective tissue between Sales, CS, RevOps, Data, and Engineering. Translate seller feedback into system improvements.
  5. Own adoption metrics, build enablement materials, run regional rollouts, and ensure global teams (including localized markets) are getting value.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Revenue Technology role within a B2B SaaS GTM organization.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce (objects, flows, permission sets, embedded components).
  • Experience with at least one data/automation stack (e.g., Databricks, Workato, SnapLogic, Airflow, dbt) — you don’t need to build pipelines, but you need to read and reason about them.
  • Comfort with AI/LLM systems: prompt engineering, output evaluation, understanding model behavior and limitations.
  • Proven ability to write clear specs, BRDs, and acceptance criteria that engineering can ship from.
  • Track record of driving adoption of internal tools or platforms across global teams.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication — you can speak to a seller at SKO and present a technical architecture to an engineering lead in the same day.
  • Experience with outbound sales tooling (Outreach, SalesLoft, Clay) or intent data platforms (6sense, Bombora, ZoomInfo).
  • SQL proficiency for ad-hoc analysis, signal validation, or scoring model QA.
  • Familiarity with revenue scoring models (propensity, intent, engagement) and the tradeoffs involved.
  • Experience with global/localized rollouts (EMEA, APAC, Japan) — understanding that “one-size-fits-all” doesn’t work.
  • Background in enablement, GTM strategy, or sales operations.

Nice to have

  • AI/ML is the role's core craft.
  • AI tools are used but not built.
  • Sales / CS / recruiting / HR / pure DevRel / content / marketing / finance / legal.
  • Does not ship ML models / agents / training / evals.
  • Company sells AI.
  • AI-adjacent (uses AI tools but doesn't build them).
