Product Platform Director for Transaction Processing in Merchant Services at JPMorgan Chase, owning platform capabilities across the full payments lifecycle. What you'd actually do

  1. Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for one or more foundational payments platforms supporting shared capabilities across products and segments.
  2. Lead platform ownership across the end‑to‑end payments lifecycle, including pay‑in processing, economics, compliance, settlement considerations, and post‑transaction events.
  3. Build and operate systems of record and reusable services (APIs, workflows, data models, controls) consumed by multiple solution teams.
  4. Balance long‑term platform health (scalability, reliability, reuse) with near‑term delivery of regulatory, network‑mandated, and risk‑driven commitments.
  5. Ensure platforms support commercial outcomes, including margin integrity, cost‑of‑payments optimization, and transparent economics.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
  • Broad understanding of payments ecosystems, including networks, payment methods, fees, operating rules, and lifecycle events.
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
